The story is set during a Category 5 hurricane in Florida, where Haley Keller (played by Kaya Scodelario) goes to check on her estranged father, Dave (played by Barry Pepper), who hasn’t responded to evacuation warnings. She finds him injured in the basement of their family home, but the situation takes a deadly turn when they become trapped by rapidly rising floodwaters and, more terrifyingly, by a group of gigantic, hungry alligators.
