The Longest Yard 2 (2025) retakes history years after the original, starring Paul Crewe (Adam Sandler), now a retired football legend, living a quiet life. When a new scandal breaks out in a maximum security prison, the director (played by a cunning new antagonist) decides to revive the infamous inmates vs guards football game as a publicity strategy. Dwayne Johnson is joining the cast as Jack “The Rock” Carter, a former NFL star unfairly incarcerated.
