Terminator Salvation (2009)

Terminator Salvation (2009) is a science fiction action film directed by McG and is the fourth installment in the Terminator film series. The plot takes place in 2018, after the events of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), with humanity fighting to survive against Skynet’s machines. John Connor is not yet the undisputed leader of the resistance but is an important figure within the movement. Connor learns of Skynet’s plans to kill him and the resistance, and he discovers that Skynet is targeting his future father, Kyle Reese, who must be kept alive to ensure John’s existence.

The movie is action-packed, featuring large-scale battles between humans and Skynet’s various machines, including the iconic T-600s and newer models. The film also delves into the early stages of Skynet’s development of the T-800 model (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the original films).
