Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare (2025)

Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare (2025)
Plot and Review
In this dark reimagining of Peter Pan, Neverland is no longer the magical paradise it once was. Decades after Wendy and the Lost Boys left, Peter Pan is still there, trapped in eternal childhood, but something has gone terribly wrong. The island has decayed into a nightmare landscape, haunted by shadowy creatures and twisted versions of Peter’s former friends. Fairies are nearly extinct, mermaids have become vengeful sirens, and Captain Hook is no longer the greatest threat: something far more sinister lurks in the darkness.

When Wendy Darling, now an adult and a psychiatrist specializing in childhood trauma, returns to Neverland because of disturbing visions, she discovers that Peter has changed: his innocence has been replaced by something far more dangerous. His refusal to grow up has taken a monstrous turn, warping the island itself. As Wendy searches for a way to escape, she discovers that Peter is not only trapped, but that he is the nightmare himself.
