Plot and Storyline (Expectations):

Vikings: Valhalla is set over 100 years after the events of Vikings and follows the journeys of legendary Viking heroes like Leif Erikson (Sam Corlett), Freydís Eiríksdóttir (Frida Gustavsson), and Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter). Season 2 took the characters through the turbulence of the Viking Age’s changing dynamics, with a growing clash between the Norse pagan traditions and the spread of Christianity, as well as the political struggles with England and other territories.

With the expected release of Season 3 in 2025, fans can anticipate further escalation of the Viking conflicts. The characters we’ve followed are now facing more global challenges, as the Viking Age heads toward its decline. We are likely to see more on the impact of the Viking legacy, the fall of the Viking influence in Europe, and the continued transformation of Leif, Freydís, and Harald as they navigate these changes.
