With his newfound leadership role, Lion-O must unite his team of brave warriors—including the fierce Tygra (John Boyega), the sharp-eyed Cheetara (Zendaya), the skilled Panthro (Jason Momoa), and the courageous WilyKit and WilyKat—against a growing darkness that threatens not only their world but the entire universe.

The threat comes in the form of Mumm-Ra (voiced by Cate Blanchett), a powerful and malevolent entity who seeks to control the mystical Sword of Omens and its ability to grant god-like power.
