The story follows Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal), a young orphan who is adopted by the King of Persia and raised as a prince. This powerful dagger allows its wielder to reverse time, and Dastan must team up with Tamina to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands, namely those of Nizam (Ben Kingsley), the kingβs treacherous brother.
