IT Chapter 3
The teaser trailer for IT Chapter 3: Welcome to Derry opens with a sweeping shot of the small, seemingly quaint town of Derry, Maine. The camera glides over the familiar locations — the abandoned Neibolt house, the quiet streets, the dense forest surrounding the town — all bathed in an eerie, fog-covered morning light. A low, haunting melody begins to play as a distant child’s laughter echoes faintly, sending chills down the spine.
The screen cuts to a title card: “Derry, 1969.” The soft laughter turns into a scream as the trailer transitions to quick flashes of unsettling scenes: a young boy riding a bicycle through a dimly lit street, his face pale with fear; a group of children staring down into a dark sewer drain; and an ominous red balloon slowly drifting down a deserted alleyway.
The music grows more intense as we hear a whisper, familiar yet more sinister than ever: “Come back to play…” The screen goes black, and then Pennywise’s distorted, menacing laugh pierces the silence, filling the audience with dread.
Cut to scenes of new faces — a group of teenagers from different backgrounds and stories who have all been drawn to Derry by a mysterious force. The camera lingers on each of them, capturing their fearful expressions, as they find clues hinting at the town’s dark history.
“There’s something wrong with this place,” one of them mutters, flipping through a faded book filled with old newspaper clippings of missing children and unexplained horrors.
